AppCap Property was founded by two Queensland real estate professionals who recognised a gap in the market for genuinely expert, client-focused lending advice that was grounded in genuine transactional and sector expertise.
With a combined background spanning more than 27 years across residential and commercial transactions, asset management, due diligence and strategic property advisory,  Tom Stock and Matthew Appleby established AppCap to offer owners and investors the kind of rigorous, relationship-driven finance guidance that institutional experience affords, without the institutional distance.

    Tom is a co-founder of AppCap Property having started the business after 15 years of working in commercial transactions management, acquisitions, specialist property research, and strategic advisory roles.

    Tom has considerable experience in acquisition/divestment management, and property due diligence and has been directly involved in over AUD $1.0B in major commercial and residential real estate transactions.

    At AppCap, Tom specialises in structuring, financial modelling, new investment strategy execution, and transaction management.

    LEAD ANALYST & DIRECTOR

    Matt is a co-founder of AppCap Property having started the business after more than 12 years of asset management, commercial property management and residential sales experience within the Government and Private Sectors.

    Matt has considerable residential and commercial property experience having held senior asset management, lease negotiation and management, and sales roles both in Australia and the UK.

    At AppCap, Matt specialises in structuring, lease analysis, due diligence and stakeholder management.
